Entries must be received during the Entry Period, contain all three required elements, and not contain prohibited material.

Please ensure you read the criteria for the award. All entries must be linked to a unique .ART domain name. Only one entry can be associated with each .ART domain name.

Regardless of format, every submission must meet the same content standards.

Prohibited Material: Each entry must not contain:

  • false, misleading, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene material or content that promotes or incites violence;

The winners are fully and solely responsible for compliance with all local and national laws and all local, national, or other taxes associated with the prize.

This applies not only to the cash prize, but to the non-cash award packages. Prizes include a $15,000 cash award, artist residencies, a publication award (featuring an article about the artist in a media outlet), a premium .ART domain name, and additional prizes to be announced.

Given that tax regulations vary significantly across countries, states, and municipalities, and that non-cash prizes may be considered taxable, it is important that entrants understand their local tax liability.
